We introduce ourselves and the new location
ROOM4U is a Swiss company based in Thurgau, which opened its first location in 2011. Since then, we have opened our doors at 5 different locations throughout Switzerland.
The idea behind this concept is very simple: space for everything.
We all know the problem. A small apartment and no space to store things.
A hobby but no space to pursue it, or a favorite car and no room to store it and tinker with it at the same time. As well as many other possibilities that we haven't thought of yet.
This is where we come in.
Our flexible spaces offer you the opportunity to rent your own personal space.
The rooms in our buildings are between 4m² and up to 63m² in size and have a ceiling height of 2.5m. There are rooms with and without windows, depending on your needs and use.
We can also adapt your room to your use, such as an electricity boost for craft activities.
Each hobby room has a power connection with its own electricity meter and we attach great importance to a good infrastructure in the building. For a small monthly fee, you can use additional services such as your own letterbox or access to the toilet facilities.
Parking facilities are also available.
Security is also very important to us. With our reliable electronic locking system and security cameras distributed throughout the building, we can guarantee that no one but our ROOM4U users can enter the building. Only you and your guests have access to your personal space.
Our employees, who are on site every day, take care of cleanliness, maintenance and repairs. They are there for you at all times and will be happy to help you with any queries you may have.
With the new building project in Elsau near Winterthur, we have taken the opportunity to expand our company and our services by an additional 7,000 m² of usable space. This means that we now have a further 360 rooms available for our customers and a wide variety of uses. Our new building will be ready for occupancy from 01.06.2024.

With a minimum rental period of one month and a two-week notice period, it is important to us to maintain your flexibility and not tie you down to anything long-term.
